We all share stewardship of Portland’s urban green space, and have a mutual interest in maintaining the park’s integrity for future generations. Our mission is advanced through the dedicated efforts of an all-volunteer board, assisted by two part-time staff members, as well as community involvement. The organization relies on the people who value and enjoy this extraordinary place to meet its most pressing needs.
In this tenth anniversary year, we are launching our annual fund with a goal of $60,000, replacing our membership drive. Please help Friends of the Eastern Promenade continue to preserve, protect and enhance the Eastern Promenade for the next ten years and beyond. Thank you!

For more than a decade, Friends of the Eastern Promenade has encouraged citizen engagement and support through advocacy, education, and community outreach. We've spearheaded successful fundraising campaigns to support our mission of preserving, protecting, and enhancing the Eastern Promenade Park.
Stewardship of this unique urban green space is our principal responsibility. In partnership with the City, we are dedicated to ensuring the park thrives as a treasured resource for the people of Portland, the state of Maine, and all who visit.
Carrying out our mission is a group effort, and we'd be honored to have you as a partner in the group. Becoming a Partner with FoEP is a mutually beneficial relationship. The partner options vary in sponsorship levels and can include single or multi-program support annually.
