26th Annual April Stools Day. With the arrival of spring comes our community effort clean up program. Please come out and help beautify the park, beach and neighborhood of rubbish, refuse and dog waste.
This self-guided walking tour offers a sneak peek into a selection of private urban gardens within Portland’s charming seaside neighborhood. Tour begins at Fort Allen Park headquarters.

7th Annual Summer Community Concert Series. Join Friends and neighbors at this series of free, Thursday evening, family-oriented concerts at the Fort Allen Park bandstand. Talented local musicians, food trucks, and breathtaking views of Casco Bay draw people of all ages in July and August. Friends of the Eastern Promenade is hosting its annual meeting in the hub of the Old Port at DiMillo's on the Water. Join us for a meeting to summarize this year's accomplishments, plans for the coming year, and election of new officers to the Board of Directors.
