Some gifts can't be wrapped in shiny paper and velvet bows. A peaceful walk after a long day at work. A breathtaking view of land, sea and sky. A warm summer evening listening to music in the park. A sled race down a snowy hill. A graceful osprey soaring over the water.
If you enjoy priceless gifts like these, we hope you'll give back to the Eastern Prom this holiday season. Your donation to our year-end appeal will further our efforts to preserve, protect and enhance the park. Just a few of our current projects include:
Fort Allen Park Restoration: Friends of the Eastern Promenade is spearheading a major plan to restore this historic park to its former grandeur. Stay tuned for updates and more news on the project, including public meetings where you can share your thoughts on the plan.
Park Beautification: Our park cleanups and workdays keep the park looking good and clear invasive plants from the Prom.
Concerts in the Park: We're hosting nine - yes, nine! - concerts at Fort Allen Park during July and August. Something to look forward to after the long winter!
Park brochure: Our new brochure will feature a beautiful map of the Eastern Prom, highlighting our complete trail system and important landmarks.
We thank all of you who have already donated to our year-end appeal. If you haven't given yet, please click here to make your tax-deductible donation to Friends of the Eastern Promenade.
We are grateful for your generous support and wish you a wonderful Holiday Season and Happy New Year!
